General Responsibility
Responsible for new product development from engineering design to mass production, project follow up to ensure all projects completed according to the development timeline and specified design requirements.
Main Duties:
1) Plastic components design includes creation of 2D control drawing and 3D CAD data.
2) Assist engineering debug through prototype sample making and engineering pilot run.
3) Project follow-up from project kick-off to high volume production.
4) Review pilot run sample and execute engineering change approval.
5) Review vendor quote and conduct product development cost analysis.
6) Monitor ongoing project’s schedule and update development progress tracking record.
7) Implement cost improvement program
8) Evaluate manufacturing capability of new supplier and perform supplier’s performance review.
Requirements:
1) University graduate in Mechanical Engineering or above.
2) Minimum 5 years working experience in Juvenile products or toys.
3) Experience of new product development and project management.
4) Experience of plastic parts design, plastic mold design and plastic injection molding.
5) Proficiency of Pro-E, SolidWorks and Auto-Cad software.
6) Good command of project management.
7) Good command of English in both speaking and writing is a must.
8) Knowledge of quality applications, such as Six-Sigma, DFMEA, TQM is a plus, but not essential.
9) Hard working and willing to work under pressure.
10) Healthy both in physical and mental.
