Title: Brand Manager

Description
Primary responsibility of this role is to manage Dell Desktop Products in China/Hong Kong commerical sales channels (Government, Education, Large Corporate Accounts, SMB). The role incorporates all aspects of local product marketing and sales support with an objective to deliver quarterly product financial goals.
1. Develop quarterly marketing plan and carry out to deliver quarterly product financial targets.
Fully accountable for desktop financials for China & HK’s Gov, Edu, Large corporate sectors and SMB market
Identify key market opportunities and business drivers (both internal & external) by diligent market analysis and working closely with sales and management team.
Develop quarterly marketing plan that help that focus on development and closure of those key opportunities or challenges.
Coordinate with management and functional teams to get required resources and supports
Lead desktop brand team to work closely with sales and other function teams to execute quarterly sales/marketing activities (eg. telemarketing activities, Direct mail, plays and email plays, etc)
Keep tracking of the sales/marketing program result for constant improvement.
Responsible for quarterly product business review to management team
2. Provide day to day sales support of internal and external sales team;
Provide timely feedback to sales management team from desktop business perspective
Work closely with the sales teams to identify opportunities and to assist in pursuing these opportunities
Develop and distribute key marketing messaging,
Product questions, lead times, and launch activities,
Training, Competitive info communication, Telemarketing Program, Relationship Play execution
Assist in large bid
3. Responsible brand management operation tasks related to the Desktop products;
Ensure right product mix by close product portfolio management
Develop customized product value proposition for major market
Develop effective product sales tools and collaterals
Ensure effective new product introduction activities are in place
Desktop product Supply/ demand management
Guidance and competitive input to regional price position discussions
Work with regional product team to manage product transition
Work with regional product team to resolve local product/ price positioning issues and product gap issue.
4. Others:
Active in presenting Desktop products to customers
Acting as a product knowledge champion for the desktop product line
People management: manage a brand team of 5
Qualifications
Must Have Skills or Technique Knowledge:
Degree in a related discipline (Business, Computer)
Minimum 5 years industry experience in sales role or product marketing role with solid track record
Strong analysis skills coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skill and organizational skill
Proven presentation skills
People management experience
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
Would Love to have Skills:
MBA degree is preferable
Broad knowledge of the China desktop or notebook marketplace
Sales management experience
Cantonese speaker
