SUMMARY OF JOB:
1. Take charge of the development and transition of New Products (NPD/NPT).
2. Ensures BOM structure accuracy and correctness of manufacturing procedures.
3. Drives each functional team for 4M readiness preparation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Organize project teams and coordinate project activities with related departments.
2. Lead new product development projects by analyzing the projected cost against manufacturing cost
3. Ensures the accuracy of BOMs structure, material availability, and correct manufacturing procedures
4. Check and solve all manufacturing issues during the pilot run stage and ensure that all issues have been resolved prior to mass production
5. Develop new Manufacturing process/line
6. Gather data on tact time/cycle time/UPH for all processes involved in manufacturing
7. Provide technical support to production in preventing/resolving material and/or process-related defects
8. Assist in conducting pilot run on parts for qualification/second-sourcing
9. Train operators on new processes and/or improvements on existing processes
10. Perform other duties as required
EDUCATION – MINIMUN REQUIRED LEVEL:
1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
2. Engineering degree in Refrigeration is preferred.
EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED:
1. With at least 3 years working experience in Project Management and Manufacturing Engineering.Experience in Refrigeration is preferred.
2. Background in Electronics with PCB and final assembly.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 1 – REQUIRED:
1. Knowledgeable in Manufacturing Operations (Engineering, Planning, Purchasing and Production).
2. With sound work organizational and presentation skills.
3. Possesses interpersonal skills, able to interact with all levels in a manufacturing environment.
4. Technically proficient.
5. Fluent in English.
