Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:
1.Mechanical or electromechanical engineering backgrounds, with formal qualifications to degree level an advantage.
2.Ability to read and use engineering drawings, and to sketch engineering requirements.
3.Practical in nature with good troubleshooting skills, able to appreciate application or product issues and their influences.
4.Good level of computer literacy. Good Command of PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.
5.Commercially aware and of smart appearance.
6.Background in General vacuum equipment and Semiconductor equipment is an advantage.
7.Self motivated, and able to work with little supervision
8.Able to operate in a Safe Manner following all Safety procedures, fulfilling safety obligations.
Principal Accountabilities:
1.Carry out Edwards pumps, scrubbers and equipment installed and commissioned correctly onsite, and that equipment is working to specification.
2.Carry out correct Edwards production preventive maintenance procedures to ensure equipment is maintained in correct working order.
3.Carry out major overhaul and replace of Edwards equipment on site, ensuring that correct tooling, BOP/SOP, test equipment and spare parts are used.
4.Carry out the regular check of Edwards equipment running on site and do record correctly.
5.Provide clear reports to team leader, to allow accurate assistance in resolving technical issues.
6.Implement recommended technical solutions to achieve desired improvements, thereby reducing commercial risks to Edwards.
