SUMMARY:
Customer Service Officer is responsible for liaising with customers in all aspects of the value stream, including pre-order correspondence, order processing, status reviews and after-sale requests and issues. In addition, Customer Service Officer will have responsibility for general business development activities for the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Liaise with customers on all matters relating to orders, order processing and production matters, either via telephone, email, fax, or in person.
2.Process customer purchase orders/contracts and create internal document as required.
3.Input of customer orders into company computer system
4.Acknowledgement of incoming order to customer, as well as shipping notification to customer.
5.Monitoring of customer orders and updating as required
6.Liaise with production and marketing departments on due dates and any other matters on specific order(s).
7.Oversee customer warranty claims
8.Receive, research and address customer inquires regarding sales orders, invoices, shipping data, paperwork, order status, etc.
9.Receive, research and address customer complaints and corrective action implementation.
10.Update and maintain customer master lists
11.Liaise with Finance department on all matters relating to customer payment, terms, warranty, etc.
12.Liaise with customer on payment matters.
13.Participation in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, etc.
14.All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
College Degree
